Prosecutor: Hackensack Stop Turns Up 3,250 Bags Of Secretly-Stashed Heroin

HACKENSACK, N.J. – A cook from the Bronx had 3,250 bags of heroin stashed in a secret compartment of his Jeep when he was stopped in Hackensack by detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, authorities said.

Ordanny German, 29, was released with conditions by a judge Friday following his arrest a day earlier, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said.

German, who was driving a black 2007 Cherokee, was charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute it.
